The Lawn Tennis Association recently announced the 50 tennis centres across the country that will act as Local Player Development Centres (LPDCs), marking the next milestone in the development of the new ten-year Performance Strategy for tennis in Britain.
We are delighted to announce that Woking LTCC was successfully named as one of only 3 centres in Surrey and 10 in the South East that will receive support from the LTA to assist developing high potential junior players from the age of seven as part of the LTA Player Performance Pathway Programme.
Congratulations to the Management Team and all Performance Coaches at the Club that have made this possible following the extensive application and assessment period which started in February. It is a very exciting time for the Club and everyone looks forward to further developments from September.
So....WHAT’S THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAMME?
